I love the title, "Glosses over performance"

Just black wheels and some interior touches, talk about boring. Granted, that's all the Blacktop is on other models, but the Dart was supposed to be an important car and their support of it seems half assed.

I read it "lazy doge is lazy" and got excited. No doge here :-(

I was going to add a disclaimer saying this is not a doge post. I think I'll go make one now though.

Still no true SRT! Yay! /sarcasm

But seriously...if they made a Focus ST rivaling Dart I'd probably buy it. I love the Dart but it's not something I'd easily give up my Ford roots for.

Exactly. When it first came out there was so much hype around it (as there should've been, it's a great-looking car with a great chassis) but ever since then they kinda just left it there and forgot about it. So much potential wasted!

I actually traded a 2010 Focus on mine. And I'd love an ST-rival with the 240(ish)hp 1.75L from the 4C.

Precisely. Just like with Ford, they already use the powerplant, so why not at least TRY to fight them. Whoever calls the shots at Chrysler is definitely playing the "safe" game with their lineup. Hell, I'm honestly surprised they have the Viper with the way the rest of the company acts.

And I'd trade a 2010 Focus in on pretty much anything...no offense, but the jump in quality from the mk2 to the mk3 focus is amazing. I love ours, but a really sporty turbo Dart would have me second guessing.
